There are some important points to be considered when selecting a domain name, hyphens and underscores can cause problems when you give out your website to people, who can type in the wrong address, having numbers instead of words is also not advisable as this may also cause problems.

Preparation

Do you already have images of your company logo, or any products, available on CD-ROM.
Do you already have any text, tables, or stock lists etc in Word format
Gather together all the text and images that will require copying and/or scanned.
Make notes on paper any ideas you have.
How many pages do you think you require, and what do you want to use them for? i.e. Home page etc.
Preparation will assist in your website being completed, and online to your specifications as soon as possible.
The main delay in the design and building process is compiling all of the content to be included.
